Blood Flow Restriction - Online Course

This online course seeks to provide participants with the latest research in the area of BFR.  Leveraging this research to know what protocols are research based and safely implemented, how BRF should be implemented and differences in pneumatic and non-pneumatic BFR devices.

This course is NOT specific to a particular blood flow restriction device but does provide some basic science behind BFR irrelevant of which device is used.  In this course we will dive into the misconceptions of BFR, the biochemistry, physiology behind the use of BFR and how BFR can be used in populations other than just athletic individuals.

Live Course

This one day live course seeks to provide participants with the latest research and knowledge to treat the combat athlete.  To effectively treat these athletes requires a through understanding of the physical demands of the sport as well as common mechanisms of injury.  

In addition, there will be a 3 hour lab focusing on application of principles learned in the didactic portion, including some common training positions and application of exercise to reduce injuries and improve performance.
